In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Revealed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Addition
